Since professional organizing is highly personal and specialized, there is something for everyone and usually an expert that addresses your specific concerns or challenges.
At Neater Digs, we believe in educating ourselves and our owner, Christi, has committed to a professional development path through NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals). This means that she has completed required coursework to be considered a Professional Member in NAPO and is currently working towards Specialty certificates to further her expertise.
The NAPO Code of Ethics outlines how our services are represented to prospective clients:
I will offer services in those areas in which I am qualified and will accurately represent those qualifications in both verbal and written communications.
When unable or unqualified to fulfill requests for services, I will make every effort to recommend the services of other qualified professional organizers, productivity consultants and/or other qualified professionals.
Because we believe so strongly in this, we feel we should outline who we’re NOT a good fit for in addition to who we know we can help.
Since Christi started helping clients get organized in 2015, we have had time to reflect on what works best and who benefits the most from our services. We’d rather part as friends and give you a referral than to leave you disappointed. Being a member of NAPO affords us the ability to refer you to a reliable and qualified expert should your needs not match our service offerings.
We’re NOT a good fit for you if….
You’re looking for move management services
Our team focuses on delivering exceptional organizing and design services once you’re all moved in. There are some fantastic companies we know if you need someone to pack or unpack your home.
You need staging in a totally empty home
We practice what we call “Staging in Place” which just means that our talents are best utilized when the homeowner needs a home makeover to get it ready to sell but is A) still living in the home B) has vacated the home and can leave furnishings behind. We know some great staging companies that also rent out furniture and accessories if you need them.
The situation you’re dealing with may involve a person who hoards
One of the reasons Christi created Neater Digs was to help those who have had a Life Event and need their home organized to bring harmony. However, people who hoard are best served by professionals trained to handle that specific situation. It would do more harm than good for us to take on such a project because it is not an area we specialize in. We are happy to do a free assessment for anyone and can make the appropriate referrals if needed.
Your home just needs a deep cleaning
Let us help you get organized and live better in your space. We’re happy to help clear away the clutter and some cleaning is naturally part of our service. However, if you just need maid service, we know some awesome folks who specialize in making your home sparkle.
We make the biggest impact when we can focus on clients who need…
Neater Digs is here to help you find harmony in your surroundings. We do that through organizing your space, updating décor, making design choices, re-imagining room layouts, tackling lifestyle edits and productivity audits. We’ll happily source and provide all of the items needed for your project and we do everything from changing room layouts to hanging artwork in addition to decluttering, purging and setting up systems to keep it all organized.
