Working Process

Free assessment

On our discovery call, we will talk about your space needs and organizing goals. If we determine that Neater Digs can help you transform your space (or life!) we will arrange an in-depth consultation with you. Sometimes an on-site consultation isn’t necessary and we can quickly book your session during the free assessment instead. We offer phone or online assessments to accommodate your needs.

We’ll look at your entire home in addition to the space you’d like to organize since one space often impacts another. We’ll help you define your goals by talking about activity zones, storage, layout changes, item edits, etc. After we meet, you’ll get a detailed report including time estimates. You may decide to DIY the plan or hire us to transform your space. The cost of the consultation can be applied to your project.

This is the most exciting part! You can expect us to arrive on time and communicate every step of the way. If we have decided to work side-by-side, we’ll give you the game plan and guide you all the way. For projects where we do all of the organizing, we’ll let you know how to check in with us and when we will need your input. We’ll provide a progress report and go over the tasks for the next day if needed.

Completion

We’ll leave you with a project success worksheet that includes the goals we accomplished and tricks and tips to keep it maintained. We like to stay in touch with accountability check in’s to see how you’re doing & can give on-the-fly suggestions for any situations you’ve encountered since the transformation. For for more in-depth help, we can arrange for a repeat session at our hourly rate.
